The Gondwana Rainforest of Australia also known as the central estern rainforest reserve sretches from Queensland to NSW.It is known to be one of the most ample areas of subtropical rainforest in the world. The reserve includes the most extensive areas of subtropical rainforest in the world.These forests span across several national parks , approximately 50 separate reserves along the eastern cost of QLD and NSW. The rainforest is home to more than 200 rare or threatened plant and animal speices. Some flowering plants that existed over 100 million years ago, as well as some of the worlds oldest ferns and shurbs. This natural landform is covered and surrounded with a native plant called the fire prone eucalyptus bush and agricultural lands which cover the large areas of the rain forest which decorate the surroundings.
